EVENTS São Paulo Forum of Professional Learning On June 21st, the Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo, represented by Cepro, took part in the 7th Ordinary Meeting of Fopap (São Paulo Forum of Professional Learning). On that occasion Cepro’s director, Susana Penteado, presented the work developed by the entities that compose REP (Rotary Professional Learning), highlighting the quality differential in all 18 institutions bound to Rotary Club, which aim to professionally train low-income youths. The meeting also graced with the presence of the representative of the General Coordination of the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) Juvenile Workforce Training and Intermediation, Flávio Costa, who clarifi ed issues related to the Dalva Teixeira da Silva, Flávio Costa, Rozângela Borata Teixeira and Susana Penteado CNA (National Register of Learning Providers). XXIII National Meeting of Friendship Organized by the National Coordination of Entidades de Senhoras Rotarianas (Entities of Rotarian Ladies), the XXIII National Meeting of Friendship, held in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, graced with the presence of the Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo president, Eduardo de Barros Pimentel, and his wife Maria Thereza. The meeting is held every two years and shares experiences of the district coordinations in their local communities, under the supervision of Mariza Boulos Notari, 2008-10 coordinator. On that opportunity, over a thousand ladies from all across Colider Group - MT presented the work “Compartilhe Conhecimentos” Brazil, forgathered and applauded the best works in the field of Literacy, which have honored with the “Ilka Marques Munhoz” distinction, received awards from the Fundação de Rotarianos de an acknowledgement of the relevant services he São Paulo. President Eduardo de Barros Pimentel was provided to improve the organization’s operations. Awarded works: • 1ST PLACE, - R$ 5,000.00 PRIZE: Association of Rotarian Ladies from Guaíba - RS, for the work “Tempo de Leitura” (Reading Time) • 2ND PLACE, - R$ 3,000.00 PRIZE: Association of Rotarian Ladies of Colider - MT, for the work “Compartilhe Conhecimentos” (Share Knowledge) • 3RD PLACE, - R$ 2,000.00 PRIZE: Association of Rotarian Ladies from Rondonópolis - MT, for the work “Ler e Sonhar” (Read and Dream). 12 Annual Report 2010
