FACULDADES INTEGRADAS RIO BRANCO FACULTY PRODUCTION Jabuti Award A teacher of the Information Systems course, Ítalo Santiago Veja, was awarded the 2nd prize in the “Exact, Technology and Computer Sciences”, of the 52nd Jabuti Award, for the work “Linguagens Formais: teoria, modelagem e implementação” (Formal Languages: theory, modeling and implementation), whose authorship he shares with Marcus Vinícius Midena Ramos and João José Neto. Jabuti Award is considered the most important literary prize in Brazil and, since 1959, it has valued authors and their high- Teachers of Information Systems won the Jabuti Award quality production in the editorial market. The 11th Education Week discussed several themes related de Brito and Joaquim Pedro Campos proposed refl ections to the teaching activity, with the intention of refl ecting about the development of competencies, the importance of management to build knowledge and learning, and the interference of social and economic relationships in education. Workshops proposing activities of recreational learning, use of video in classrooms and confl ict management at Maria Isabel Pacheco Castro, Maria Alice Castro Rocha, Edman Altheman, along with lecturer José Machado schools closed the Week.
