CENTRO PROFISSIONALIZANTE RIO BRANCO COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES Courses on Fiscal Education for Citizenship To meet the Ministry of Labor and Employment’s new guidelines, Cepro started to offer the course ‘Fiscal Education for Citizenship’ to students from the Learning Professional Program. The course aims at raising young people’s awareness with regard to the social functions of taxes, and to encourage actions related to responsibility and business ethics. Students who are already employed and return to the entity will have the chance to take the course together with their work, mastering in subjects related to their professional activity. Young students learn the social function of taxes D Week + Danisco About 200 students of Cepro participated in the Project “Danisco Adding Knowledge” for a week, at the headquarters of Danisco Brazil. The group was welcomed by the President of Danisco South America, Zacarias Karacristo, who spoke to a young audience about market and work-environment related subjects, highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship, good academic background to get a job position and also attitude that increases employability. During the many meetings that were held, professionals from different departments provided answers about the specifi cities of their fi elds and Cepro students had the chance to learn from the company’s experiences the profi le of professionals who work there. Courses on Fiscal Records and Personnel Department Students of Cepro had the opportunity to take Courses study and work, as the only way to achieve the goals of on Fiscal Records and Personnel Department, given in a successful professional learning. Afterwards, director of partnership with SESCON-SP (São Paulo State Union Cepro, Susana Penteado, detailed the course activities. for the Accounting Services and Advisory and Research Companies), through the program Solidary Sescon – Shaping the Future. Intended for those who have concluded previous training, the courses allow students to develop skills and competences, focused on the immediate performance in Human Resources and Accounting. The director of Sescon, member of the Superior Council of Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo, Salvador Strazzeri, delivered the inaugural lecture to the course on Fiscal Records, promoted by Cepro, in partnership with Sescon. In his speech, Salvador Strazzeri emphasized the importance of a serious and committed approach towards Salvador Strazzeri at the delivery of materials to students Annual Report 2010 85
