CENTRO PROFISSIONALIZANTE RIO BRANCO PEDAGOGIC ACTIVITIES 18th Reading and Writing Workshop With the objective to promote the practice of various literary genres, the 18th Workshop proposed the creation of tales, poems and theater plays, based on each student’s life story. The activity was inspired by the International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures introduced by UNESCO, which celebrates peace as a consequence of knowing and accepting cultural, ethnic, linguistic and religious differences among peoples. The workshop was closed with a musical meeting, with the presentation of works that cherished diversity expressed in individual stories, and fostered creativity, playfulness and interaction. Workshop praised culture and creativity 19th Reading and Writing Workshop The 19th Reading and Writing Workshop’s theme was “Good deeds throughout generations”, based on the 2010 axis theme “Good deeds change the world”. After reading refl exive, informative and literary texts, students were invited to create their own texts, exercising written language and creativity, inspired by the theme of the event. The Cultural Musical Meeting, which celebrated the art of verbal expression, was composed of poems, jesters, parodies, acrostics Students presented literary works during Musical Meeting telling the story of many generations. SPORTS AND CITIZENSHIP A Different Day Cepro integrated the Different Day – a day of voluntary work activities, in the benefi t of charities, promoted by the Colégio Rio Branco. At the sports facilities of the Colégio Rio Branco, at Granja Vianna unit, the future apprentices were benefi ted from the Olympic Fire project, created by former student Thiago da Silva Nascimento. The program is part of the former student’s graduate Physical Education research project, which allowed young participants at Cepro to have a whole day dedicated to sports and team work. The day reached its peak with the grant of medals and the feeling of having done a good deed, for most of the participating volunteers.
