EXTERNAL PERFORMANCE EDUCAR/EDUCADOR BETT BRASIL 2014 Participation in the congress Educar/Educador Bett Brasil 2014. The theme of the event was “A true immersion for excellence in education. Where to head?”. The conferences and seminars were delivered by prominent national and international experts. The general principal Esther Carvalho joined the discussion with the subject “There is no Miracle. The non-secret formula of Successful and Quality Experiences in education”. She spoke about the importance of the school and the family being close to each other, among other aspects and challenges of education today. She also participated in the talk show on “Innovative Projects in The general principal, Esther Carvalho, during her participation in the congress Educar/Educador Bett Brasil 2014 TEACHER TRAINING EDUCATORS ARE SELECTED FOR INTERNATIONAL COURSE The course “Educators for the 21st Century” is offered online by the Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Educators from Colégio Rio Branco and Centro de Educação para Surdos Rio Branco were selected to participate in the professional development program “Educators for the 21st Century” offered by Tampere University of Applied Sciences, in Finland. This is a partnership between the Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo and the Finnish university established in 2013. The program lasts 18 months and covers the following central themes: “Skills for education in the 21st Century”, “Use of Technology in Education” and “Results and Assessment in Education.” 42 Annual Report 2014 Education: Institutions dedicated to the development and balanced growth”, in which were discussed subjects as valued skills in young adults and what they dream to be. The general principal also talked about the working inclusion of deaf students, developed in partnership with the Centro de Educação Para Surdos Rio Branco, and the professional development of teachers.
