It was held in London the 10th International Branding Week - London 2014, organized by MBA Branding Innovation course of Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco in partnership with Brunel University. The FRB students could participate in technical visits to Interbrand and Bluemarlin, Branding consultancy companies, par t i cipate in workshops, and attend lectures. In Munich, Germany, they visited the Deisignit and Frog, Innovation consultancy companies and the BMW Museum, where they had contact with all the latest in brand experience. As part of the activities, students gave presentations at Brunel University, and presented study cases of Branding projects carried out in Brazil. After that, they gathered all the information from those presentations to present at Interbrand and Bluemarlin. Among all the previous experiences, the MBA coordinator, Antonio Roberto de Oliveira, said that “this event was special compared to the previous editions because, besides celebrating 10 years of partnership, our participation this year was really active and collaborative, and we could show that our students are well prepared for the international market.” Prominent professionals attended the Branding Week, such as teachers Chris Holt and John Boult, and the Design Plus coordinator, Amanda Baker. The Brazilian delegation was composed by Alex Mazzini, Alexandre Alves, Arthur Décimo Kersting, Jéssica Lianza, Marilha Maozoni Marchi, Paola Bellucci Ortolan, Mark Van Loo, Aline Horta and Mário Kertész. The MBA Branding Innovation course of the Faculdades I n tegradas Rio Branco presented the new learning environment, which is part of the pedagogical proposal of the course: participative methodology in which student plays the main role and the teacher is the facilitator of the process. The new room has silk screen-printed glass on every wall, which makes possible to students and teachers write on them or use stick notes, so every idea can be expressed and shared. Modern technological resources were made available to students, such as the pen touch television. The new environment is colorful to inspire students to creativity and new ideas; and the furniture, tables and chairs provide a multiple configuration options. With all these resources, the student is brought out of his comfort zone, and is encouraged to stand up and work with the group. Teachers can move around as the room provides different spaces, giving a new dynamic for the traditional way of teaching. The concept that guided the development of the new space is the “Design Thinking”, a work philosophy that focuses on continuous reflection. This philosophy foresees that ideas are designed and prototyped all the time and the space should inspire people to develop their activities. Lectures with renowned professionals during the trip
