Annual Report 2014 71 ALUMNI TALK ABOUT HOW FACULDADES INTEGRADAS RIO BRANCO CONTRIBUTED TO THEIR CAREER SUCCESS In testimony Guilherme stated how Rio Branco and the teacher staff supported his career. A former student of Information Systems (IS) course of Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco, Guilherme Mendonça Gomes, spoke about his work as a technology consultant at Inpartec and educator at the Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo – Cotia Fatec. He also worked in the IT Group and Microsoft. The professional said that the close relationship with the IS faculty at Rio Branco was very important for Since college, Douglas seizes opportunities and accumulates important experiences for his current professional moment. Graduated in the International Relations course of Faculda-des Integradas Rio Branco, Douglas Bernardo Silva is now a consultant at PageGroup to recruit professionals in the oil and gas industry. The former student said that he is always involved in global forums and summits. In 2014, he participated as Lead Discussant in the “High Level Expert Seminar on the New Partnerships for Development”, organized by the Russian Presidency of G8, by the World Bank and the UNO Development Program, held in Moscow. This interest, according to Douglas, came from the opportunities offered in the Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco. “Along the way, I realized that there is no point if you have the tools and do not use them, and Rio Branco has always offered me the his professional development, both as a consultant and as a teacher. He believes that teaching is to give back to society the learning he received. For him, the course was very important because it addressed theoretical knowledge with practice that is required in the job market. “I believe that there is no formula for success. The key is to be dedicated and work tirelessly” he said. Currently, Guilherme implements collaborative tools projects, from planning to implementation and monitoring. He commented that the area has many opportunities and that the most important thing is to be dedicated to the objective one wants to achieve. This is something you will take with you and apply 100% in your life forever.” Douglas chose to participate in the internship at PageGroup, and in six months he was hired and started to take care of all the global actions of online and offline Marketing.
