Annual Report 2011 ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES Lectures, Events and Visits Citizenship and Ethics “Citizenship and Ethics” was the theme of the lecture given by Luiz Carlos Ferro, a teacher at the Colégio Rio Branco, to students from Cepro. The lecturer asked instigating questions to the audience, to teach the thoughts and doctrines of several philosophers throughout time, indicating concepts and visions on ethics, proper to each time period. Based on their experiences and aided by the lecturer, students concluded on the importance of practicing ethical virtues and of knowing their duties and rights, so as to be full citizens. Teacher Luiz Carlos Ferro Tax Recording and Human Resources Courses During this third year of the partnership between the Centro Profissionalizante Rio Branco (Cepro) and the Sindicato das Empresas de Serviços Contábeis (Union for the Accounting Services Companies) and Empresas de Assessoramento, Perícias, Informações e Pesquisas – Sescon (Advisory and Research Companies in the São Paulo State), more students from the Capacitação Prévia do Programa de Aprendizagem Profissional (Previous Training of the Professional Learning Program) at Cepro took the Tax Recording and Human Resources courses. After graduation, the students resumes becomes part of Sescon’s talent database, increasing their chances of entering the job market. Apprentices participated in the Sescon courses Excellence in Customer Service Marta Delgado, former student of the Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco and FRSP collaborator, talked to Cepro’s students about client assistance, based on the management models of the Walt Disney Corporation parks in Florida, USA. Focusing on service sales, in which personal characteristics play a decisive role, the speaker talked about client assistance techniques, different forms of client relationship management and on personal qualities and behavior that help build ties with the company and win the clients’ loyalty. Marta Delgado D+ Danisco Week Students were received by the president of Danisco of Brazil from Human Resources, Engineering and Finance departments, for South America, Zacarias Karacristo and took part in lectures among others, introduced themselves to the students through during the “D+ Danisco Week - Increasing Knowledge”, a lectures, in order to familiarize them with their roles and jobs in Corporate Social Responsibility project by Danisco.
