GRADUATION Centro Profissionalizante Rio Branco (Cepro) makes around 300 apprentices available to companies each semester, ready to work as office clerks and with solid knowledge and training that focuses on citizenship, ethics and solidarity in dealing with people. In 2011, several new partnerships were formed, reflecting an expressive growth in relation to the past years. Around 300 apprentices were formed by Cepro Professional Learning Program In 2011, the 9th and 10th classes of Previous Training of the Professional Learning Program of Centro Profissionalizante Rio Branco (Cepro) graduated, making around 600 students available for immediate entry in the job market. Authorities from the Labor and Work Ministry and the from the cities of São Paulo and Cotia were present at the graduation ceremonies, in addition to companies partners of Cepro which employ apprentices; directors and managers from the Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo and its mantained institutions, in addition to illustrious Rotarians, who stated their belief in the graduates ability to create their own future through their access to the job market. Walter Kaltenbach, director of Mastermind, a leadership training company, gave the closing speech at the graduation ceremony of the 9th class and conducted a joint reflection regarding the essential aspects to be taken into consideration in personal relationships and in one’s professional life. The ceremonies had their moment of emotion and art through videos and photos that portrayed important moments of the course, and the theatrical presentation of Cepro’s Group of Young Actors and Poets. Graduation honored the students Professional Learning Program for the Deaf and Disabled People The graduation ceremonies of the Professional Learning Program for the Deaf and Disabled People – offered by Cepro in partnership with Selur and with the support of Rotary Club –, was attended by Eduardo de Barros Pimentel, president of the Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo, Ariovaldo Caodaglio, president of Selur, José Américo Fischmann, from Itapevi Rotary Club, José Roberto de Melo, Regional Superintendent of the Labor and Work Ministry, Ronaldo Freixeda, manager of Public Policies of the Regional Work and Labor Bureau of Osasco, in addition to the director of the Centro de Educação para Surdos Rio Branco, Sabine Vergamini, of Cepro’s director, Susan Penteado, and of the general director of Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco, Edman Altheman. All of them pointed out how important it is to comply with the law that requires companies to hire disabled people, giving them the opportunity to exercise citizenship and prove Directors, managers and authorities honored the apprentices their ability to be part of the job market. 85
