FUNDAÇÃ O DE ROTARIANOS DE SÃ O PAULO HAS A NEW PRESIDENT EMERITUS Eduardo de Barros Pimentel, president of the Board of Directors of Fundação from 1997 to 2013, received a tribute as president emeritus. At the occasion, a commemorative plaque was unveiled in the presence of the president of the Board of Directors of Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo, Nahid Chicani, counselors, directors of the Rio Branco institutions, family members and guests. Carlos Jerônimo da Silva Gueiros, president of the Superior Council of Fundação, presented the seventeen presidents emeritus of Fundação that compose the tribute gallery. He also highlighted Eduardo de Barros Pimentel’s work during the sixteen years he has led the Foundation’s Board of Directors. He also pointed out his generosity and commitment, which he continues aggregating to the Rio Branco institutions, now as a chancellor of the Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco and counselor of the presidency. Eduardo de Barros Pimentel thanked for the nomination as a President Emeritus and emphasized the pleasure to have been leading FRSP. THE FOUNDATION RECEIVED THE MEDAL FOR EDUCATION MERIT Eduardo de Barros Pimentel was honored in the Congress and Feira de Educação Saber (Knowledge Education Fair). As recognition of the Colégio Rio Branco, representatives thanked for the honor, pointing personalities that contribute to of famous institutions and out the educators’ responsibility the education in the country, the educators from different regions, in the education of children, young Trade Union of the Education Eduardo de Barros Pimentel people and adults. Establishments in the State of São Paulo (Sieeesp) annually grants the Medal for Education Merit. Eduardo de Barros Pimentel was indicated for the honor by José Antônio Figueiredo Antiório, member of Sieeesp and Vice President of the FRSP Community Council.
