COMMUNICATION MUSIC DOCUMENTARY ABOUT INDIGENOUS CULTURE The Production of the students of Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco was presented at Sesc The music documentary “Guarani Guardian” of the group KYRINGUE NHEMBOVY’A (Happy Child, on Guarani language), from Rio Silveira Village, produced by Journalism and Radio and TV students and former students of Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco, with support of the Journalism course coordinator, Patrícia Rangel, was released at Sesc Pompeia as part of The Indian Day commemoration, celebrated on April 19th. Recorded in 2011, at Opy, House of Worship headed up by The documentary was released during the celebration of the Indian Day Pajé Egino, the documentary was produced from no. 14 public notice achievement of the Cultural Action Program, Support Contest for the projects of Indigenous Culture Continuity Promotion in the State of São Paulo, promoted by the Secretariat of State for Culture, Culture Production Diffusion and Furtherance Unit, São Paulo State Government. The Deputy Manager of Sesc’s Management of Social and Educational Programs, Maria Alice Nassif; the Funai’s coordinator of São Paulo State, Márcio José Alvim do Nascimento; the Public Policy coordinator for Black and Indigenous Population, Elisa Lucas Rodrigues; Roberto Fleury, deputy secretary of Secretariat of Justice and Defence of Citizenship, and the coordinator Patrícia Rangel composed the event’s opening table that was also honored by the general director of Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco, Edman Altheman, and by the academic director Alexandre Uehara. PUBLIC RELATIONS STUDENTS ARE HIGHLIGHTED ON ABRP AWARD Students of Public Relations of Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco were highlighted on the 31st Award of Brazilian Association of Public Relations - ABRP. The projects presented were: “Lights, Camera, Action: Public Relations as protagonist of Brazilian Cinematheque” winning the 2nd place in the category “Cultural Sector”; “Be JAC on Public Relations: the strength of strategic communication on the construction of JAC Motors Brazil image and reputation”, 2nd place in the category “Business Sector”; and “The real unfailing plan for Mauricio de Souza Produções”, 3rd place on the subcategory “Services Sector”. Carried out on September 26th, the awards ceremony analyzed the works sent by students from several educational Brazilian institutions. Every awarded works were experimental projects performed for the Senior Research Project developed by Rio Branco students, graduated in 2012 for real customers.
