AWARD CEREMONY FACULDADES WINS 2013 AFRICA-BRAZIL AWARD Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco received the award on Educational category, in the eighth edition of Africa-Brazil Award, organized by African Cultural Center. Teacher Humberto Aragão attended the ceremony at Theater of São Paulo City Public University, School of Medicine representing the Faculdades. Africa-Brazil Award has been created to homage personalities, companies and governments that are highlighted by its contribution to society by means of several social and cultural works that contribute to the human development and to socio-environmental inclusion of Afro-descendant subject. Through a partnership with universities of Cabo Verde, Humberto Aragão and Edman Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco currently receive African students that, according to the students and the Faculdades. ‘So, the Faculdades have received teacher Humberto Aragão, are this award not only due to its work on educational area for more than received in a harmonious way, a decade, but also because of its performance in the reception and creating a link of affection with welcome of these students’, he said. PARTNERSHIP COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH FUVEST Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco have signed a cooperation agreement. Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco and Fuvest (University Entry Examination Foundation) have made a cooperation agreement for the entry on the institution’s graduation courses. The agreement makes candidates entry feasible via the results obtained in the first phase of Fuvest Admission Exam. The score determines student’s selection and classification, according to the public notice, and became valid for entry processes in 2014, sparing the conventional test of Rio Branco Admission Exam, besides the exemption of registration fee. 2013 Annual Report 67
