RIO BRANCO MEETING OF PROFESSIONS PROFESSION & FUTURE The Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco held the 7th edition of Rio Branco Meeting of Professions at Lapa Campus and the 1st edition at Granja Vianna Campus. 7th edition of Rio Branco meeting of Professions at Lapa Campus 56 Annual Report 2014 of showing support to young adults and encourage them to make the right choice. In Granja Vianna unit, the opening lecture was delivered by Leo Fraiman, psychotherapist and speci a l ist in Educational Psychology. The focus of the discussion was the importance of self-knowledge and the will to become a successful professional. The speaker highlighted self-knowledge, autonomy and balance as key elements to real career success. In addition to several lectures, participants of the event had the opportunity to take career tests and participate in workshops. About nine hundred High School students were at Lapa Campus and about five hundred at Granja Vianna Campus, and had the opportunity to attend about 50 lectures given by Rio Branco teachers and guests, all leading professionals in their fields. The opening lecture was delivered at Lapa Campus by Daniel “Salsa” Lopes who performed a stand up comedy show bringing the audience up into funny stories. The speaker played a game addressing different professions and the moment of choosing a career.
