The meeting with parents and legal guardians of students who are in the Professional Learning Program included the presentation of students’ performance through activity carried out by the young adults. The idea is to establish a partnership between the family and Cepro in order to support and better prepare the student for the labor market. Moreover, the meeting aims to re-build the emotional connection with the family to improve communication between parents and children. Students feel more secure to be in the professional environment when their self-esteem is kept to high level. Parents and legal guardians were asked to interact with students to express their best wishes for great personal and professional success through drawings and messages. Students role-played real-life scenarios, at home and at work, through which they could show important values such as respect, ethics, dedication, solidarity and responsibility. The technical assistant, Katia Novaes, and art educator, Jorge Prachedes, highlighted the value of family support in this early period of the young adults career.
