PARTNERSHIP WITH FAMILIES OPENING CLASSES Students and parents got to know more about the learning program and the work done by Cepro. 2014 CENTRAL THEME The objective is to show that besides having dreams, it is also necessary to have an action plan in order to achieve them. The central theme that outlined the activities developed by the Centro Profissionalizante Rio Branco in 2014 was “Commitment and initiative are the cornerstone to achieve dreams.” The Central Theme is prepared at the beginning of every year based on the analysis, contribution and discussion among Cepro colaborators’ team on the profile of young adults in general, how they are doing and what they need. According to the Cepro director, Susana Penteado, this analysis revealed that most of them have no perspectives and dreams. This is the reason why it is necessary to work on this issue, as well as the importance to search for what they want. 86 Annual Report 2014 The opening classes of Centro Profissionalizante Rio Branco, held in January and in July, welcomed new students who were able to learn more about the rules and the work developed by the Professional Learning Program and the Professional Learning Program for Deaf and Physically Impaired People. The classes also gathered parents and legal guardians, so they also could get familiar with the learning program and the work done by Cepro. Among the topics covered in the opening class, the director Susana Penteado pointed out, among other themes, the importance of being committed to classes, following the rules and dress code. She also spoke about the modules that will be addressed in the first semester of the course. Susana Penteado welcomed the new students Students during their activities
