SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS LABOR DAY Students talked to professionals of different areas. Every year, the Centro de Educação para Surdos Rio Branco celebrates Labor Day, promoting lectures with deaf professionals that work in different areas, in order to strengthen the deaf identity and culture with the view of many possibilities that the market offers to the deaf community. In 2014, students from 2nd to 5th grade of Elementary School talked with Leandro da Silva, administrative assistant at Toyota Company, and Edvaldo dos Santos, art educator at Museu Afro Brasil (Afro Brazil Museum). EASTER GYMKHANA HUNT Students participated in various collaborative activities, for integration and leisure. The Centro de Educação para Surdos Rio Branco has held an Easter Gymkhana Hunt for all grades from Pre School and Elementary School, with cooperative games that encourage solidarity. Students were proposed several tasks. The coordinator of the Development Committee of the Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo, Dino Samaja, donated Easter fruit cakes for the students. 108 Annual Report 2014 Leandro da Silva and Edvaldo dos Santos with students CHILDREN WEEK To celebrate Children Day, the Centro de Educação para Surdos Rio Branco prepared special activities for students. Students from Pre School and Elementary School participated in activities to celebrate the Children Day. A special program was prepared and, among several games, was held the traditional “Teacher- Student Challenge” in which groups of teachers and staff came together to compete and participate Several Gymkhanas were done on Easter Teacher Adriana Maria Vieira with student in group activities with students. Pre School, in a unique moment, prepared a delicious picnic.
