The Fundação de Rotarianos de São Paulo has promoted the 11th edition of the Mission and Vision Meeting, which aims to generate information sharing on Rio Branco Institutions among directors, counselors, committee members, managers and employees. The Board of Directors president, Nahid Chicani, started the event by thanking the presence of all, highlighting that, for the first time, the event invitation was extended to the presidents of the 81 clubs outside the city of São Paulo, increasing the institution visibility. The Foundation superintendent, Marco Rossi, emphasi zed that the meeting concept is supported by the Corporate Governance principles and is based on transparency, equity, accountability and corporate responsibility. He also addressed the aspects of the current macroeconomic environment that affect the educational field. Alexandre Uehara, Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco Academic Director, reinforced the institution role in the student global education based on innovation, entrepreneurship and partnerships to strengthen the brand. Esther Carvalho, Colégio Rio Branco General Principal, spoke about the importance of the development of non cognitive skills, emphasizing the education challenges in the XXI century. The school belief is based on diversity and how results should be valued which are aspects that integrated in everyday life. The Rio Branco Distance Learning coordinator, Wagner Tadeu Mendes, spoke about the activities developed by the maintained entity, highlighting the dynamic of this education model, which offers university extension courses in partnership with Faculdades Integradas Rio Branco, Online Dependence subjects and activities for latu sensu postgraduate courses. The Centro Profissionalizante Rio Branco Director, Susana Penteado, spoke about the Professional Learning Program and the Professional Learning Program for the deaf and physically impaired people. In adittion, she talked about the perspectives for the institution and the expansion plan of Cepro, as a result of a partnership with the Rotary Club Taboão da Serra-Pirajuçara. Sabine Vergamini, Centro de Educação para Surdos Rio Branco Director, spoke about the institution work, which aims the social inclusion of deaf people and their families. The Director emphasized its performance and the search for partnerships and sponsorships. The meeting has ended with discussion groups, in which managers got together with small groups of participants, maximizing the information exchange and experience sharing.
